OMG you're gonna LOVE truffle oil (I hope). I loathe mushrooms, but I love truffle oil. Never had the actual truffle mushroom though. Also, I recently had foie gras for the first time at a cocktail party (I didn't know what it was) and it was really good. For some reason I equate it with pâté which I can't stand. You should come visit Philly - we could probably cross at least 2 things off your list while here.
